Nurse Practitioner

Rachel Loring, NP 

Rachel graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in psychobiology and Curry College in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked at Abington Pediatrics as a nurse for many years before obtaining her Master's degree in 2019 from Boston College and becoming a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Rachel lives in Canton with her husband and two young children. 

Pediatrician & Owner 

Yara Fernandez, MD 

Dr. Yara Fernandez is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in the Dominican Republic. She completed her residency at Metropolitan Hospital-New York Medical College in New York. Dr. Fernandez practiced medicine at Brockton Pediatrics for ten years prior to opening her own practice here in Abington - her greatest accomplishment (in addition to her two children of course). She takes great pride in providing quality care to her patients. Dr. Fernandez enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Erika Nunez-Fernandez, NP 

Erika has a Bachelor's degree in biology from Bowdoin College and graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions with a Master's degree in nursing in 2015. She joined Abington Pediatrics in 2018. She lives in Holbrook with her husband and four children.
