Dr. Yara Fernandez is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in the Dominican Republic. She completed her residency at Metropolitan Hospital-New York Medical College in New York. Dr. Fernandez practiced medicine at Brockton Pediatrics for ten years prior to opening her own practice here in Abington - her greatest accomplishment (in addition to her two children of course). She takes great pride in providing quality care to her patients. Dr. Fernandez enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren!
