What if my child is bit by another human? 

 

Unfortunately, your child may be bit by a sibling or a playmate at some point in his or her life. If your child is bit by another human, please call the office right away. If the bite has broken the skin, we will want to see your child in the office and may start your child on antibiotics. Before coming to the office, please wash the area with warm, soapy water. For minor bites that do not break the skin, home care may be advised - but either way, remember to please call the office immediately if your child has been bit by another child!
